Monday's goal of the day came during a season of rebuilding at Molineux as Michael Kightly scored the only goal of the game as Wolves overcame Leeds United in 2006/07.
In the first season of Mick McCarthy's reign, Wolves reached the Championship play-offs, and Kightly, who took home the young player of the season award at the end of the campaign, was one of the major reasons behind that success, with the popular winger making eight assists and scoring eight goals, including a stunning individual effort against Leeds, in 26 games after joining from non-league Grays Athletic.
