Quiz | Goal of the day: Atkins vs Crystal Palace

Sunday's goal of the day came in a game of mixed emotions for those of a gold and black persuasion as Wolves took on Crystal Palace in the 1997 play-off semi-final second leg at Molineux.

After falling to a 3-1 defeat to the Eagles at Selhurst Park four days earlier, with former Wolves striker Dougie Freedman scoring twice, Mark McGhee's men were given a lifeline within half an hour of the second leg, when Mark Atkins' effort closed the gap.

Although the hosts went on to win the match 2-1, it was not enough to overturn the first leg deficit and Wolves had to settle for another season in Division One.

But in honour of Atkins' strike which gave hope to the thousands of supporters inside Molinuex, we're testing your knowledge of the starting 11 as well as the one substitute who played in that match against Palace back on 14th May 1997.
