Wolves Women to hold trials ahead of fresh campaign

Wolves Women FC will hold trials this June as they look to bolster their squad for a promotion push in next season’s National League.

Dan McNamara’s team narrowly missed out on promotion this season, but have already turned their attention to reaching the third tier next time around and are looking to add fresh faces to the group.

The trials are being held at an exciting time for Wolves Women as they become more closely aligned with the men’s side of the club, who are stepping up their support in every aspect of the women’s team operation.

Wolves Women will now train at the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground sponsored by Fosun International and players across all age groups will no longer pay subscription fees. More information on the changes are available here.

Trials will begin on Sunday 9th June, 12-2pm, at the Compton training ground (WV3 9DU), where McNamara and his staff will be in attendance, hoping to add to the current group.

Players aged 16-20, who are eligible for the development team, are also welcome at the trials, as the younger age group prepare for life in the FA Reserve League.

Players interested in taking part in the trials should register by Thursday 6th June, 5pm, at the latest by either emailing andybutler@wolves.co.uk or calling 01902 828366.

To register, players should provide their name, date of birth, current year group (if applicable), playing position and any previous team played or trialed for.
