Wolves provide Golden Chance to Hong Kong pair

Wolves have offered a chance of a lifetime to two Hong Kong youngsters through the Golden Chance competition, in association with Eastern Sports Club.

On day two of the Golden Chance, Rob Edwards and his staff returned to the Jockey Club HKFA Training Centre, where they’d eventually hand Wolves trials to two Hong Kong footballers.

80 youngsters, aged 13-19, began the evening with a series of fitness tests, showcasing their agility and endurance, and recording impressive test scores in warm conditions.

Afterwards, the group was split into teams and given the opportunity to display their football skills in matches, with Wolves staff watching on to help pick their favourite two.

After around three hours of testing and football, Edwards and his staff discussed their findings, as well as with Eastern Sports Club, and a decision was made.

The top five were given a round of applause from the group, before Edwards announced it was Loong Tsz Hin of the under-16s and Tang Tsz Shing of the under-18s who’d won a week-long trial at Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground sponsored by Fosun International.
