Wolves Express | Fitness update ahead of Everton

Looking to make it three wins from three in six days, Gary O'Neil has provided Wolves Express with a fitness update of his squad ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Beginning Friday's episode of the club's official bitesize podcast, O'Neil chats about the status of both Hee Chan Hwang and Craig Dawson after the pair were substituted due to injury in the wins over Brentford and Chelsea respectively.

The head coach also chats about returning to Molineux this weekend after a first win on the road in two months in midweek, but O'Neil offers a cautious message about Saturday's opponents with Everton having shown a lot of quality during the season, which would see the Toffees one point ahead of Wolves in the Premier League table if not for their 10-point deduction.

That message is also echoed by midfielder Mario Lemina, who believes Wolves need to continue the hard work and effort they displayed against the Blues and the Bees so far this week if they are to go eight games without defeat at Molineux.

With Wolves set for their final game of 2023, goalkeeper Jose Sa and club legend Andy Thompson have reflected on an impressive 12 months for those in Old Gold, as Sa admits the team are surprised by how well they have done since the summer.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
