Wolves Studios’ latest film 1967: When LA Wolves conquered the USA will premiere on TNT Sports this Saturday, ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s televised visit to Molineux.
The 30-minute film, documenting how Wolves claimed the first official US soccer title, will be broadcast on the newly branded network at 10.30am on Saturday morning in the build up to the game, and will then be available on demand on Discovery+.
For supporters unable to enjoy the airing on TNT Sports or Discovery+, the film will also be premiered on Wolves’ YouTube channel at 6pm on Monday 13th November, as well as Wolves TV.
For supporters based in North America, 1967: When LA Wolves conquered the USA will also be available to view on the NBC Sports YouTube channel, which has 3.4m subscribers.
The latest offering from Wolves Studios, the club’s internal production house, is a co-production with leading football media company Footballco and their football magazine MUNDIAL, and illustrates the incredible untold story of Wolves’ involvement in kickstarting the popularity of the sport in the United States.
A truly remarkable story in the history of Wolves, the documentary recalls the summer of 1967 and LA Wolves’ United Soccer Association league title through never-before-seen footage, while transporting viewers back to the scene of a historic moment for the Old Gold.
The story, which reaches its climax with a thrilling final at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, was screened to an exclusive audience at the Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton city centre last month but will now reach a worldwide audience.

“Securing respected broadcast partners in the UK and the US was important for the viewership of the documentary, which took a great deal of research, preparation, filming and editing from our internal team, Footballco and MUNDIAL.
“Aside from the Wolverhampton premiere, we aired the film to our supporters in New York prior to the Newcastle United game, and it was very well received. We now hope supporters of Wolves, and the wider footballing world, enjoy the final product.”
