Ahead of the June international fixtures, 13 members of Julen Lopetegui’s squad are set to link up with their national teams.

Euro 2024 qualification fixtures take centre stage again in Europe, likewise the African Cup of Nations, while international friendlies take place across the globe during the middle of June.

Toti’s call up to the Portuguese senior squad for the first time was the main talking point, as he was one of four Old Gold men to feature in Roberto Martinez’s first Portugal squad.

Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo and Ruben Neves have also been called up for qualifiers against Bosnia & Herzegovina and Iceland in the coming weeks.

Nathan Collins is back with the Republic of Ireland squad for meetings with Greece and Gibraltar, while Matija Sarkic, back from his loan at Stoke City, links up with Montenegro.

Mario Lemina will represent Gabon this summer for an African Cup of Nations qualifying match against DR Congo.

South Korea and Hee Chan Hwang will face Peru and El Salvador in friendlies, while Raul Jimenez is back with Mexico for Trinidad & Tobago and Cameroon clashes.

In the younger age groups, Pedro Neto and Fabio Silva have been selected for Portugal’s under-21 squad for a Euro 2023 triple header against Georgia, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Fit again Boubacar Traore has also been called up to the Mali under-23 squad for African Cup of Nations qualifying games against Gabon, Egypt and Niger.

Joe Hodge is also back with the Republic of Ireland under-21 group for a trio of friendlies against Gabon, Ukraine and Kuwait.

Finally, Yerson Mosquera, currently on loan at FC Cincinnati, has received his first senior call up to the Colombia squad for clashes with Iraq and Germany.
