Coady called up for October internationals

Conor Coady has been included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the October internationals.

The defender, who has three caps to his name, will link up with the Three Lions after Saturday’s game with Newcastle United for their World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Hungary.

Soutgate’s side head to Andorra on Saturday 9th October, before returning to Wembley to host Hungary the following Tuesday.

Portugal have also announced their latest squad, which includes Wolves midfield pair Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves, ready for a friendly against Qatar and qualifier at home to Luxembourg.

Romain Saiss will also be in international action with Morocco, who face a World Cup triple-header against Guinea home and away and Sudan.

South Korean Hee Chan Hwang has also been called up by his country for qualifiers at home to Syria and away to Iran.
