Royal Caribbean sign as Wolves’ training wear partner

Wolves have agreed a new partnership with Royal Caribbean, who have become the club’s official training wear partner.

The partnership will see the global cruise line’s branding appear on all first-team training wear worn by the Wolves players and staff throughout the 2021/22 & 2022/23 Premier League campaigns.

Royal Caribbean International is known for driving innovation at sea and has continuously redefined cruise vacationing for over 50 years, with each successive class of ships pushing the envelope of what is possible on a cruise line.

Royal Caribbean continues to revolutionise holidays with itineraries to more than 270 destinations in 72 countries on six continents, including Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay, the first in the Perfect Day Island Collection.

Russell Jones, Wolves’ general manager for marketing and commercial growth, said: “We are delighted to welcome Royal Caribbean to the Wolves family.

“From the moment we first started talking, it was clear that we shared a progressive approach to challenging what is perceived as the norm in our respective industries.

“Since its launch in 1969, Royal Caribbean has been the driving pioneer behind many of the amazing experiences available on cruise ships today. 2022 will see Royal Caribbean embark on an exciting new era and we are proud and honoured that we’ll be a key partner in that journey.

“Planning starts now as we work on exciting and innovative ways to introduce Royal Caribbean to Wolves fans and the wider Premier League TV viewing audience.”

Royal Caribbean has debuted countless industry ‘firsts’ onboard its impressive fleet of cruise ships – such as rock climbing, ice skating and surfing at sea – to capture the imagination of families and adventurous holidaymakers alike. Guests can sail on exciting itineraries to some of the world’s most popular destinations and enjoy Royal Caribbean’s friendly and engaging service.

Ben Bouldin, vice president EMEA at Royal Caribbean International, added: “As Royal Caribbean returns to service around the world and prepares for an incredible 2022, this partnership with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC presents a brilliant platform to broaden our visibility and reach.

“We are already a very popular holiday brand among those living in the midlands, with appeal from a wide range of holidaymakers. We are delighted to be involved with the Premier League through this high visibility partnership, which will enable us to reach new audiences across multiple channels.

“I wish the team the best of luck for the rest of the season, they can now count Royal Caribbean among their top fans.”
