The Wolves Megastore will reopen its doors at midday on Thursday with a fresh look, offering supporters an improved retail experience at Molineux.
In recent weeks the store has undergone an extensive refurbishment, with a new configuration designed to offer a better shopping experience and alleviate queues at peak periods on a home matchday.
The refurbishment, branded to reflect Wolves’ new partnership with kit supplier Castore, also offers a bigger shop floor so fans will have access to a broader product range than previously.
On Thursday between 12 and 7pm, the official launch day, Wolves’ new 2021/22 home kit range will be available, as well as the recently launched training and matchday collections, and a broad range of Wolves branded apparel, souvenirs and accessories.
Also, shoppers on launch day to be in with a chance of winning one of several ‘Golden Envelopes’ which will be placed inside randomly selected bags.
Prizes include a signed Premier League football, hospitality for two for Wolves’ Celta Vigo pre-season friendly on 7th August, two tickets for the Celta Vigo game, one store voucher worth £200, three store vouchers of £50 and five store vouchers of £20.
Contrary to reports, the Wolves Megastore will be open for the Celta Vigo game and every home game thereafter. The Megastore was only closed for fixtures played without supporters last season, due to Covid protocol.
Vinny Clark, general manager for commercial operations, said: “The re-opening of the Megastore on Thursday signals an exciting new era, as we embark on our new partnership with Castore at Molineux. The retail team have been working incredibly hard on the refurbishment which will offer a much better experience to our fans.
“The previous store layout meant that fans became frustrated with congestion at key periods prior to kick off. We’ve made plans to alleviate that congestion, open up the shop floor and allow fans to browse our growing product range with much more leisure.
“We’re confident that the changes will be visually impressive and lead to a significantly more pleasurable experience in store. Demand for our new Castore ranges has exceeded our expectations and we’re delighted to welcome fans back in store this week to touch and feel our new product, and be in with a shot of winning some great prizes.”
