Four-part Ask Wolves series to be broadcast this week

Jeff Shi and Wolves’ senior management team have answered hundreds of questions which were submitted into the first ‘Ask Wolves’ as part of the fifth anniversary of Fosun’s takeover.

Over the last five seasons it has become customary for the executive chairman to provide a pre or post-season update, sometimes in a video interview and other times in the form of a letter to supporters.

But this year, Ask Wolves has given supporters the opportunity to have their voices heard and pose the questions themselves to Shi, and the club’s general managers, Scott Sellars, Matt Wild, Russell Jones and Vinny Clark.

Shi and the general managers received 633 questions, and sat down to answer them ahead of the final week of the 2020/21 season.

Their responses will be released in the form of video, podcasts and written articles during the coming week as a four-part round-table series – hosted by Sky Sports reporter and Wolves fan Johnny Phillips – across the club’s media channels, Wolves TV and wolves.co.uk.

Due to be broadcast at 10am on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Tuesday, the panel answered a variety of questions relating to transfers, strategy, the Academy, Wolves Women, communication, club structure, ticketing, stadium redevelopment and global growth, among many other topics.

The first of the four parts will go live on Wednesday morning, with a video broadcast on Wolves TV and YouTube, while an audio version of each section will be released as a podcast.

Shorter highlight clips from the interview will also be shown on Wolves’ official Twitter and Facebook pages, while an accompanying story will be available to read on wolves.co.uk.

A full transcript of every single question posed to Shi and the general managers from supporters will also be published on wolves.co.uk.
