Megastore back open from Monday

The Molineux Megastore will reopen its doors next week, as Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease across the country.

On Monday 12th April, at 10am, the Megastore will welcome supporters back inside and will mark the occasion with a series of discounts across the store.

The shop, located at the foot of the Stan Cullis Stand, will open between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

That means the store will be open for business every day for the remainder of the month, aside from matchdays, when Wolves host Sheffield United and Burnley.

Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the Megastore and limited numbers will be allowed inside at once, as is customary in establishments across the country.

Vinny Clark, general manager for commercial operations, said: “I’m delighted that the Megastore will once again open its doors on 12th April in line with the government’s roadmap to ease lockdown restrictions. The store has been closed since December and the re-opening feels like a significant milestone on the path towards getting our stadium back to a ‘business as usual’ operation – something that we are all so eager to do.

“Since last March, the club, its staff and our fans have faced many setbacks with stadium operations ceasing and fixtures being played behind closed doors. Hopefully this can be the first of several positive steps forward to the end goal of welcoming matchday fans back to Molineux at the earliest opportunity.

“Due to the store’s persistent closures throughout the last twelve months, we are carrying a heavier inventory than we normally would at this time of year as we haven’t been able to service the matchday demand that we had bought product for – this means fans will be able to make great savings and find plenty of bargains across our ranges when they visit the Megastore as we look to manage our 2020/21 stockpile down.

“I’d like to place on record my thanks to the Megastore team who have remained patient and committed during this frustrating and unsettling time for all and I know they are chomping at the bit to welcome fans back with the warmest of smiles in a safe and secure way from Monday. Hopefully this will be the last time we are forced to close our doors due to this pandemic and from next week we can look forward with positivity.”

As always, remains available to supporters 24/7, and will share the Megastore’s exciting range of offers this April.
