Wolves and Energy Angels strengthen partnership

Wolves have expanded their partnership with Wolverhampton-based firm Energy Angels, who have now become the club’s official energy partner.

Having spent a successful first season in partnership as the principal sponsors of Wolves Women and official partners of the club, Energy Angels have expanded their relationship with the club even further, and will continue to see their branding front the women’s shirts for the 2020/21 season.

The company is now sponsoring the Billy Wright Stand family enclosure, with their branding visible across the stand, as well as pitch side at Molineux. Energy Angels, who have a keen focus on helping and supporting Wolves fans through their partnership, are also the new headline sponsors of the Wolves Fanzone.

Wolves general manager marketing and commercial growth, Russell Jones, said “We are delighted that Energy Angels will be renewing their partnership with Wolves.

“The most enjoyable partners to work with are those that actively work with us to create engaging content for our fans, and none of our partners are more active than Energy Angels.

“Aside from helping us create great experiences for fans, we are also very thankful for Energy Angels ongoing support of our Wolves Women, who are striving for promotion again this year.”

Wolves and Energy Angels recently launched a fan driven score predictor game for supporters to guess the scores ahead of each game during the current Premier League campaign for the chance to win monthly prizes, with more exciting competitions and activations set to be launched throughout the season.

Lewis Taylor, chief executive of Energy Angels, said: “Most of us at Energy Angels are huge Wolves fans and we’re very proud to be official energy partner of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC as well as continuing our support with Wolves Women.

“Our partnership with Wolves will directly help fans and their families with lower cost energy for their homes and businesses, made simple with our online service and helpful team, based here in Wolverhampton.

“Throughout lockdown, we’ve remained at full strength to help people battle against increasing energy prices. Our service is free, impartial and our customers are able to switch to cheaper deals in minutes. We’ll also help with any follow ups and provide that extra bit of support to fans who need it.

“We’re particularly looking forward to seeing the Wolves score predictor game evolve, which was launched last weekend. It’s going to be great to see fans engaging and winning some great prizes over the course of the season.

“For fans and their homes, we have some great offers coming up which will tie in nicely for some other amazing news coming soon, plus we’ve also got some great incentives coming for businesses in the area too. It’s going to be exciting times.”
