Hoever joins panel to discuss No Room For Racism

Ki-Jana Hoever featured on the Wolves panel educating Foundation participants on the importance of tackling discrimination, ahead of the Premier League’s designated No Room For Racism weekend.

Hoever, Wolves Women’s Jamila Palmer, ex goalkeeper Matt Murray and former captain and Foundation ambassador Karl Henry joined participants of PL Primary Stars, PL Inspires and PL Kicks via Zoom on Thursday afternoon.

On the call, host Murray posed questions to the panel, which had been submitted by Foundation project participants.

Through this, the panel highlighted the changes in society and football in recent years and stressed the importance of the Premier League’s No Room For Racism campaign, which will prominent during Sunday’s fixture with Newcastle United.

The call looked at issues that exist with regards to racism and aimed to encourage primary and secondary school children to reflect on how certain actions can affect others.
