Wolves' Heads Up donation welcomed

Representatives of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have thanked Wolves for their donation towards the Heads Up campaign.

Through Wolves’ Goalden Gate Superdraw, an incredible £675 was raised at January’s FA Cup tie with Manchester United at Molineux, thanks to the generosity of supporters.

The third round weekend saw the campaign take centre stage and partner with Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters and their Take a Minute activation, where every tie was delayed by a minute, giving supporters a moment to reflect on their own mental health.

Lucy Jackson, corporate development manager at Royal Foundation, said: “Wolves’ kind donation will contribute towards the efforts of the Heads Up charity partners and will provide much needed support to those people who need it most.

“Thank you very much again for choosing to support the Heads Up campaign and for continuing to help us change the conversation.”

It is important that throughout the current ongoing situation, and in the coming months, that mental health remains part of the conversation, for both fans and players alike.
