Director Lewis Taylor heaped praise on the team at Energy Angels and their partners who provide the infrastructure to Angels Group.

He said: “It’s worth mentioning our amazing team behind the scenes for being so flexible. Thanks to our team’s agile approach and remote working policy, we are able to continue helping people throughout the lockdown period without any disruption.”

Since 2006, Energy Angels have been helping homes and businesses avoid high energy bills with their free service. In addition, during lockdown, they have also been helping those who are struggling to pay their energy bills due to the impact of Covid-19 on finances.

He added: “The team at Energy Angels have been helping vulnerable households across the UK with energy issues throughout Lockdown.

“One scenario which stands out was a rehomed NHS worker who had been illegally evicted by their private landlord and rehomed by their local council. We helped restore power to their property and wipe out any debt owed by the previous occupant, whist they were doing the important work of helping to save lives.

“We’ve helped people find Covid-19 energy grants and provided general energy saving advice and support to help households cope with their energy bills. I’m glad we could do something to contribute in our small way and we’ll continue to try and do more.”

The future is uncertain for many of us, but one thing is for sure, with us all spending more time at home, energy usage is on the rise. Energy Angels provide a free and impartial price comparison service for electricity and gas, so Wolves fans and partners can access the free services from Energy Angels to keep their energy costs as low as possible.

“We’d be delighted to help our fellow Wolves fans reduce their energy spend. For the sake of five or ten minutes, savings can be £100s for homes and in their £1,000s for businesses.”
