Wolves host annual memorial service on Wolves TV

Wolves’ video memorial service to remember lost loved ones from the Wolves family will go live on Facebook and Wolves TV this Saturday at 3pm.

The annual fans memorial service held at St Peters Collegiate Church has been an important event in supporters’ calendars over a number of years, but unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The replacement video memorial service, still hosted by club chaplain Reverend David Wright, gives supporters the chance to congregate in their homes and remember members of the Wolves family who are no longer with us.

Supporter liaison officer Dave Wood said: “During these times, we feel it is more important than ever for supporters to be given the opportunity to remember loved ones with whom they shared special Wolves memories with.

“We have received a huge amount of correspondence from fans wanting to remember their loved ones in the video memorial service, and we hope many of you can join us on Facebook for the service at 3pm on Saturday.

“For those who can’t join us at that time, the service will stay on Facebook and Wolves TV indefinitely for our supporters to watch whenever they want to.”
