The fixture, originally scheduled for Saturday 24th August, has been pushed back to Sunday 25th August, with a 4.30pm kick-off.
The match has been moved back after Nuno Espirito Santo’s side reached the play-off round of the Europa League, meaning Wolves will now be playing Serie A outfit Torino in Turin next Thursday evening. The move of the Burnley fixture will allow the Wolves players to have one more day to recover from their travels to Italy.
Last season, both Wolves and Burnley claimed three points in their Premier League matches against each other, with a Raul Jimenez effort separating the two sides at Molineux back in September.
Further fixtures are subject to change, depending on Wolves’ progress in the Europa League, therefore supporters are advised not to book travel or accommodation until dates and kick-off times are confirmed.
