Wolves seek victory in FIFA eClub World Cup 2019

Wolves eSports stars Fifilza7 and Ebinhob will be representing the club this weekend as they look to be crowned champions of the FIFA eClub World Cup 2019.

Hosted in London, the annual tournament sees the world’s best eFootball clubs and organisations meet in the pinnacle of football club eSports.

Representing Wolves, Fifilza7 and Ebinhob qualified as one of the 15 best teams in online qualification and will join defending champions Brondby IF, who have been drawn with Wolves in Group A.

The rest of Group A is made up of Manchester City and Prime NINJA, whilst AFC Ajax, VfL Bochum 1848 and Al-Nassr FC are just some of the other clubs competing.

FIFA.com says: “Fifilza7 and Ebinhob have already shown what they can do at several tournaments this season, and are among the dark horses to claim the FIFA eClub World Cup title.

“After some impressive recent performances, 'Fifilza7' is currently in the top 20 of the FIFA 19 Global Series PlayStation Rankings."

The teams will compete for a prize pool of $100,000 (about £77,000) and important EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series Points on the Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.

The tournament will be streamed live on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and FIFA.com, with the finals broadcast live on Sky Sports Football from 2.30pm to 4pm on 10 February.
