Loan Watch: Mid-season update

Following the closure of the January transfer window, Wolves now have 25 players who are plying their trade away from Molineux for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.

Continuing the partnership with Spanish Segunda División B side FC Jumilla, five young Wolves players are currently out in Murcia, with Sherwin Seedorf, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Bradford City, joining Sylvain Deslandes, Boubacar Hanne, Ryan Leak and Ming-Yang Yang.

Striker Donovan Wilson, who was previously with Jumilla, has switched to League Two outfit Exeter City, while goalkeeper Jack Ruddy has stayed in Spain but is now with San Sebastian.

Wolves have three young stars at Slovakian Fortuna Liga side DAC Streda after Daniel Csoka and Connor Ronan – who was with League One Walsall – joining Christian Herc, who has featured heavily for the title-chasing club since the start of the season.

Other Wolves prospects who have moved abroad this January include the under-23’s top scorer Benny Ashley-Seal, who has joined Portuguese second-tier side FC Famalicao, while the January signing from Jumilla, David Wang, has been loaned to Sporting CP for the rest of the campaign.

Among those who’ve stayed in the UK are Leo Bonatini (Nottingham Forest), Harry Burgoyne (Falkirk, was Plymouth Argyle), Bright Enobakhare (Coventry City, was Kilmarnock), Ethan Ebanks-Landell (Rochdale), Ben Goodliffe (Dagenham & Redbridge), Jordan Graham (Oxford United, was Ipswich), Kortney Hause (Aston Villa), Aaron Hayden (Stourbridge) and Connor Johnson (Walsall).

While Rafa Mir (Las Palmas), Roderick Miranda (Olympiakos), Phil Ofosu-Ayeh (Wurzburger Kickers FC) and Michal Zyro (Pogon Szczecin) will spend the rest of the season overseas.
