Wolves are taking on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Monday 14th January, with 3,000 away supporters expected to make the journey to the north-west.
Supporters travelling to the Premier League clash to cheer on Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are being advised to arrive at the ground no later than 60 minutes prior to kick-off.
Those attending the match – which is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm – need to be aware major road works are currently taking place on the Manchester Salford Inner Relief Road.
The highway will be reduced from two lanes in each direction to one and there will also be an overnight closure on the M60 between junctions 10 and 12 clockwise.
Supporters are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys, as well as being warned that bags are not allowed in the visiting section of the stadium and there is no storage facility available.
Supporters who are collecting tickets can do so from the South Stand Ticket Office which will open 90 minutes prior to kick-off.
Pubs in the local vicinity of the stadium are generally used by home supporters and drinking is not allowed in public areas across Greater Manchester, meaning fans are advised to stay in the City Centre if they are looking for a pre-match drink.
Away fans are welcome in City Square, which is the home fanzone, and although away supporters cannot go on the bars at City Square, they can watch the onstage entertainment and buy food from the kiosks, starting at 5.30pm.
Due to external segregation after the match, fans will not be able to turn left towards the Etihad Campus Metrolink stop, they will instead be directed around the stadium. Both Holt Town and Velopark stops – the Metrolink stations on either side of the Etihad Campus, which is a tram directly to Piccadilly Station – will not be operational for at least an hour after each the match.
