Molineux set for exciting pre-match spectacle

Molineux is set for its most ambitious pre-match show so far ahead Friday evening’s fixture against Liverpool.

Supporters are urged to be in position by at least 7.45pm, to be ready for kick-off and play their part in building the atmosphere ahead of the final home fixture of 2018, and live Friday Night Football on Sky Sports.

The unique pre-match show will include a live set from DJ Justin Wilkes, who will combine classic Wolves anthems with contemporary club hits to set the scene for the huge fixture.

The set will be accompanied by a light show and pyrotechnic display to help raise the roof off Molineux, and supporters are urged to arrive early to witness the spectacle and help play their part.

In addition to the pre-match show inside Molineux, Wolfie’s Den will host a Christmas Carnival to build the excitement amongst young Wolves supporters from 6pm outside the Stan Cullis Stand.

The Speed Cage, which first team players attempted last month, will be in position to challenge supporters, along with a High Striker, Skittle Alley and Buzz Wire Game, in what will be Wolfie’s Den’s most exciting pre-match event of the season.

This will be Wolves’ final Molineux fixture of 2018 and all efforts are being made to raise the atmosphere pre-match, however in 2019, Wolves’ FA Cup tie with Liverpool will carry a more poignant message.

After consultation with the family of FA Cup winning Wolves hero Bill Slater who passed away earlier this week, the club will be dedicating its FA Cup on Monday 7th January to celebrating Bill’s memory and huge achievements at the club.

With his family in attendance and the FA Cup that Bill so famously lifted in attendance at Molineux that evening, Bill’s legacy and contribution to Wolves will be honoured with a number of fitting tributes ahead of the game.
