Flávio to represent Wolves at FUT 19 Champions Cup

Wolves eSporter Flávio ‘Fifilza7’ Brito is set feature at EA’s first major event of the season this weekend.

The 18-year old from São Paolo will be representing Wolves in the first FUT 19 Champions Cup in Bucharest, which starts on Friday.

Having qualified from over 20 million FIFA players, he will be competing against the top 32 PlayStation 4 players in the world for a $200,000 prize pot and a total of 20,000 Global Series Points, which are required for qualification for the FIFA eWorld Cup in July.

It has been a meteoric rise for young Flávio, who signed for Wolves in October and now leaves his home in Brazil for the first time to travel to Europe.

You can watch his journey from Brazil to the Bucharest in the video below:

The tournament is a huge step-up for the Brazilian who will compete against the world’s best players.

Russell Jones, Head of Marketing at Wolves, said: “This will be a fantastic experience for Flávio. We know there is media and fan interest in his performance both here in Wolverhampton and across Brazil. We are delighted with how both of our players have started the season.”

Where to watch and stay updated on Flavio’s progress:

Unfortunately, Wolves’ other eSports player Torin Page missed out on FUT Champions Cup qualification for November but will be joining Flavio in Wolverhampton from Wednesday 5th December.

But as both players are FUT qualified, there will several other opportunities to qualify for subsequent events.
