Great Big Auction ends Sunday

The Great Big Auction ends on Sunday at 9pm, with Louise Cobbold’s brilliant watercolour paintings raising money for four separate charities.

The auction for the first ten pieces has been running since last Thursday and each one has attracted bidders, with the current total raised more than £3,500 with three days remaining.

Each of the paintings have featured on the front cover of Wolves’ new-look matchday programme this season, garnering praise for Louise’s work throughout the footballing community and on social media.

Each painting comes mounted, framed and signed by both Louise and the featured sports star, and offers a unique opportunity to win a valuable piece of original sporting memorabilia whilst raising funds for Cure Leukaemia, Good Shepherd Ministry Wolverhampton, Race Against Blood Cancer and YMCA Black Country.

As of midday on Thursday 25th October, the top bids of each paintings were as follows:

  • Carl Ikeme: £230
  • Conor Coady: £510
  • Richarlison (Everton): £470
  • Nuno Espírito Santo: £720
  • Pep Guardiola (Manchester City): £720
  • Willy Boly: £400
  • Ashley Barnes (Burnley): £280
  • Leo Bonatini: £155
  • Ryan Bennett: £157
  • Danny Ings (Southampton): £99

Limited Edition prints will also be available from Friday 26 October at midday to ensure Louise’s art remains accessible to all fans, with a minimum 10 percent of profit from sales being donated to Cure Leukaemia.
