Wolves officials are supportive of the fan-led initiative encouraging supporters to line Waterloo Road to welcome the home team coach ahead of Saturday’s match against Sheffield Wednesday.
However, for fans seeking to show their support in this way, Wolves urge them to begin lining the road no earlier than 1pm, to welcome the coach on arrival at 1.15pm.
Cooperation with this request will negate the need to close Waterloo Road any earlier than usual, and thus avoid inconveniencing fellow supporters making their way to the game.
