Jeff Stelling’s ‘Men United March’ from Hartlepool to Wembley to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK will hit the Midlands tomorrow.
The Sky Sports Soccer Saturday host is walking the equivalent of ten marathons in ten days in aid of the Football League’s charity partner and tomorrow (Saturday) – Day 6 – will start out from Molineux at 8am.
He will be joined by Wolves’ CEO Jez Moxey, club doctor Matt Perry and former goalkeeper and now Sky Sports pundit and Nike Academy coach Matt Murray, as well as several other Wolves fans in heading to Walsall, West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Birmingham City.
Football League sponsors Sky Bet are auctioning 25 signed football shirts in aid of the Men United March for Prostate Cancer UK. Shirts from each of the clubs Jeff passed by will be auctioned off. Jeff said: “Over ten thousand people die of Prostate Cancer each year. I’ve been personally affected and it’s likely that you know someone who has, too. I’d like to thank Sky Bet for their support for my Men United March and I’d urge fans to have a bid on one of the shirts in the auctions. Alternatively you can text JEFF to 70004 to donate £3 to the March.” To place a bid on one of the shirts up for grabs, visit: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/skybetauctions
