Under-23s Friendly Win

Wolves Under-23s launched their pre-season programme with an impressive 7-0 victory at AFC Wulfrunians.

In a game played at the Castlecroft venue which used to be Wolves’ training base up until three decades ago, it was effectively an Under-21 side which started the game, and an Under-19s one which finished.

The goals came from Aaron Collins (2), a Carlos Heredia penalty, Brad Carr, Enzo Sauvage, Taylor Perry and Ryan Giles.

Young keeper Jackson Smith saved a second half penalty after coming off the bench.

The Under-23s are next in action away at Bala on Wednesday night before travelling to AFC Telford on Saturday.
