Anna Grey

Former Burnley and Ipswich Town winger Anna Grey joined Wolves Women in summer 2025.

The winger, who signed for Dan McNamara's side alongside her former Clarets teammate Georgia Marshall, spent the 2024/25 campaign at Turf Moor before making the switch to the Black Country.

Grey came through the youth system at Ipswich Town, breaking into the first-team during the 2019/29 season in which was primarily used in cup competitions, but did score three times in eight league appearances.

She was part of an Ipswich team in tier four which mirrored Wolves following the Covid-19 pandemic, with the side being top of their divisions both seasons which were ultimately null-and-void, denying them a championship. However, similarly to her new team, Ipswich were also granted upward movement into the Southern Premier Division.

The winger experienced a standout season for the Tractor Girls in 2022/23 as she top-scored for the side with 13 goals, as well as adding another 10 assists, while a move to Burnley arrived in summer 2024 which saw the winger score three times in 14 league appearances in claret and blue.
