Norwegian international David Moller Wolfe joined Wolves from AZ Alkmaar in summer 2025 as he reunited with international teammate Jorgen Strand Larsen

The 6ft 1in left-wing-back arrived at Molineux with 190 senior appearances under his belt, with his first coming as a teenager in 2017 for Bergen Nord, but his career gained momentum following a move to SK Brann in 2019.

He was quickly playing regular football in the top tier of Norwegian football, and despite suffering relegation, Wolfe was an ever present as Brann went to within one match of an invincible season in 2022, claiming a first title of his career.

The move to AZ Alkmaar followed, bringing a first experience of European football. Replacing Milos Kerkez as the Dutch side’s regular left-back, Wolfe racked up 45 games, featuring in every Eredivisie and Europa Conference League fixture.

Last season he furthered his reputation as an attacking full-back, providing eight assists, including against Roma in the Europa League, and netting a three goals himself against Galatasaray, PEC Zwolle and Almere City – his final match for AZ before this Molineux move.

Having played for four international youth groups, and captained the under-21s at times, Wolfe made his senior Norway debut against Faroe Islands two years ago – a match in which Strand Larsen scored – one of his 12 caps to date. In 2025, he started all four matches of his nation’s perfect start to World Cup qualification, scoring against Israel and starting in a 3-0 win over Italy in June.
