Wolves Women booked their place in the semi-finals of the Birmingham FA Challenge Cup after a dominant victory against Birmingham City PGA at the Wast Hills Training Ground.
Amber Hughes, Charlotte Greengrass and Jade Cross all found the net twice and two clinical finishes from Chloe Williams and Racheal Quigley enabled Wolves to record a staggering 8-0 victory.
It took the Old Gold ten minutes to find the back of the net for the first time when Hughes’ headed effort beat Lily Felgate.
Seven minutes later Williams rotated from provider to goal scorer with a neat finish from distance, Greengrass extended Wolves’ lead to three on the 23rd minute and the momentum was in full swing for Dan McNamara’s side.

Hughes got Wolves off to the perfect start after the interval when she found the bottom corner on the 51st minute.
Shortly after the hour mark, Anna Morphet’s magical left foot provided excellent delivery for Greengrass to get her second goal of the afternoon with her header from close range.
The lead allowed McNamara to look at reinforcements from the bench, Quigley and Cross repaid that trust once they were introduced and found the net three times within six minutes.
It took Cross just seven minutes to find the net after replacing Hughes, converting her effort from close range.
Quigley contributed three minutes later with a powerful finish and Cross secured her brace 12 minutes from full-time to sign off a determined performance.
