Wolves Women finally kick-off their 2026 on Sunday afternoon when they take on Birmingham City PGA (Under-21s) in the Birmingham FA Challenge Cup.
After two false starts with postponements against Burnley and West Brom, the match presents not only an opportunity to progress in a cup competition, but also to get some minutes in the legs ahead of next week's rescheduled Black Country Derby.
Setting the Scene
It has been 26 days since Wolves were last in action, winning 3-0 at West Brom in the league to ensure Dan McNamara's side sat atop the tree at Christmas - a spot they still occupy.
Birmingham City Professional Game Academy are the Under-21 side of the WSL 2 outfit and were last in action on Wednesday when they beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1.
Last Time Out in the County Cup
Hednesford Town 0-12 Wolves | 20/10/25
Charlotte Greengrass scored six as Wolves comprehensively sailed past Hednesford Town.
Venue Information
The match takes place at Birmingham's Knighthead Performance Centre, also known as Wast Hills. Unfortunately, due to venue limitations, the match is taking place behind closed doors and there is no access to the general public.
