Wolves Women’s 2025/26 fixtures confirmed

Wolves Women will kick off their 2025/26 season away to Liverpool Feds, as the fixtures for the FAWNL Northern Premier Division campaign were confirmed.

With two promotion spots up for grabs this season, Dan McNamara’s side will be looking at securing a spot in WSL2 but face a difficult start on the road against an always tricky Feds side on Sunday 17th August, before hosting Burnley – another team aiming for promotion – at SEAH Stadium the following weekend.

The tough tests don’t end there for the women’s first-team as August is rounded out on Sunday 31st with a trip to another team who will hope to be at the top end of the table this season in Rugby Borough.

Newly promoted Middlesbrough are the visitors to Telford on 14th September, before a first Black Country derby of the season against West Bromwich Albion takes place on the road on 12th October.

A first home Black Country derby against Sporting Khalsa takes place a few weeks later on 29th October at SEAH Stadium – one of two midweek league fixtures for McNamara’s side this season – before the return tie against Burnley kicks off 2026 on 4th January.

The second midweek league game of the campaign will see Wolves make the very short journey to Willenhall on 18th February to face Khalsa, while the home derby with West Brom is scheduled for 29th March.

Wolves’ 2025/26 league season will come to a close in April, starting with an away tie against Stoke City on Sunday 12th before a final day outing at home to Halifax on Sunday 26th.

In addition to their league campaign, Wolves Women are also due to be competing in the Women’s FA Cup, National League Cup and Birmingham Challenge Cup this season.

For the changed format of the League Cup, which will this season see 22 groups of four teams – including sides from the Professional Game Academy, Wolves have been placed into Group Q, where they will face Manchester United PGA, Stoke and Wythenshawe, who were recently promoted into the FAWNL for 2025/26.
