Wolves Women have the opportunity to progress to the last eight of the FA Women’s National League Cup when they make the trip to AFC Sudbury on Sunday.
A flawless cup campaign so far this season has seen Dan McNamara’s side win four matches in the competition, plundering 17 goals in the process, and will now make a difficult visit to a side one division lower than the Old Gold.
Setting the Scene
Wolves’ unbeaten season continued last weekend with a 2-0 win over Halifax thanks to goals from Amber Hughes and Louanne Worsey which capped off a perfect three game week following FA Cup progression over Rugby Borough and a league victory over Sporting Khalsa.

Suffolk side AFC Sudbury, who play in Division One South East, were in action away at Fulham last time out and were beaten by the Cottagers. Despite having lost their last three matches, they have scored at least twice in their last five and made it through to this stage of the competition with a 3-1 win over Boldmere St Michaels last month.
