Wolves Women round off their three game week with a trip to Halifax on Sunday looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season in all competitions.
It’s been a successful seven days so far for Dan McNamara’s side as they beat Rugby Borough 2-1 in the first round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on Sunday before a 4-1 win over local rivals Sporting Khalsa on Wednesday night in league action.
Setting the Scene
Wednesday night’s win kept up the pace with league leaders Burnley – Wolves have a game in hand on the Clarets – who beat Liverpool Feds 3-2 in stoppage time on the same night.
