Women's preview | Huddersfield vs Wolves

Wolves Women travel to face Huddersfield Town Women on Easter Sunday.

Fresh from their Black Country derby victory at Molineux last Friday, Dan McNamara’s side will be looking to secure back-to-back wins.

Amber Hughes and Tammi George scored the goals last time out, as Wolves defeated their rivals West Bromwich Albion for the tenth successive time.

That win moved the Old Gold back up to fourth in the Northern Premier Division table and they now come up against a Huddersfield side currently sitting second bottom.

The Terriers have eight points to their name this season, having won two and drawn two of their 16 games so far.

However, Glen Preston’s side come into the game on the back of draws against Halifax and Liverpool Feds, while proving hard to beat in narrow defeats to Nottingham Forest and West Brom.

Wolves completed a league double over Huddersfield last season, as well as winning the League Cup quarter-final, and won on their last visit to the Stafflex Arena following a 5-0 victory in August 2022.
