Wolves Women youngster Ania Denham has received her first ever call-up to the senior Wales squad.
After being a regular within the Welsh youth ranks, the 17-year-old has been rewarded with a place in Rhian Wilkinson’s 26-player squad for their upcoming UEFA EURO qualifying fixtures.
Denham is one of five youngsters selected for their first senior camp, with Soffia Kelly, Mayzee Davies, Elena Cole and Mared Griffiths also involved.
The opening game of the qualifying campaign for the 2025 finals in Switzerland will see Cymru take on Croatia in Wrexham on Friday 5th April (7.15pm), before travelling to Kosovo for their second fixture on Tuesday 9th April (1pm) at the Zahir Pajaziti Stadium in Podujevo.
Denham is spending the remainder of the season with Sporting Khalsa, where she has already made an impact, and has featured for both Wales under-17s and under-19s this campaign.
