Dan McNamara’s side play the second of four successive home fixtures, culminating in a Black Country derby at Molineux on Friday 22nd March, with Newcastle United to come next week.

However, first, focus is on Forest and the opportunity to put more points on the board in the FA Women’s National League following last Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Liverpool Feds.

Beth Merrick, Destiney Toussaint and Jade Cross scored the goals as the Old Gold secured a first league win of 2024.

On Sunday, they host a Nottingham Forest side who have won 11 from their 15 games this season and haven’t tasted defeat since November.

Carly Davies’ Reds were also 3-0 victors last time out when they took all three points from their home fixture with Halifax.

Wolves have twice faced Forest away from home this season, in league and cup, and were on the wrong side of a 2-0 scoreline on both occasions.

In February last year, McNamara’s Old Gold took all three points from this fixture as goals from Destiney Toussaint and Jade Cross (2) secured a 3-1 success.
