Dan McNamara’s side are back in action following a frustrating two-week period without a game, with fixtures at Stourbridge and Fylde both postponed.
The Old Gold last played on Sunday 18th February when they defeated West Bromwich Albion on penalties to reach the Birmingham Challenge Cup final.
Wolves are still only halfway through their Northern Premier Division campaign having played just 11 games in comparison to the 14 of Liverpool Feds.
And it is Sunday’s opponents who sit higher in the league table, albeit having played those three extra games, in fourth on 22 points. Feds are unbeaten in their last four matches and took a share of the spoils at home to Nottingham Forest two weeks ago.
Five points below are Wolves who are awaiting a first league victory of 2024, having lost two of their last three this year. Last time out at the New Bucks Head in the league, Ellie Wilson rescued a point against Stoke City to secure a 1-1 draw.
Wolves were 2-1 victors over Liverpool Feds in this fixture last season, with Anna Morphet and Naomi Bedeau scoring the goals for McNamara’s side.
