Hannah Fryer is the latest to put pen-to-paper with Wolves Women ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
The right-back has signed for Dan McNamara’s side, becoming the fourth new player to agree terms over the summer.
Fryer follows on from Liv Fergusson, Ellie Wilson and Merrick Will as a fresh addition to the squad and bolsters the defensive options at McNamara’s disposal.
Fryer has previous experience at AFC Fylde, Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield FC, Manchester City and in Germany with FC Nurnberg.
The defender played the final 22 minutes of Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Oxford United, replacing fellow new signing Wilson in the right-back position.
Head coach McNamara said: “Hannah comes with loads of experience and arrives from Fylde. I think she’s been player of the season there for the last two seasons and she felt like she needed a new challenge.
“She’s liked what she’s seen over the last couple of months and last few years when we’ve been competing against each other. It’s really good experience to bring into the back line and she’ll cover that right-hand side of the pitch.
“I’m excited by what Hannah can bring and the girls have bought into her. She’s been a real favourite within the group and she’s got real quality as well. We’re looking forward to working with her over the next 12 months.”
