Dan McNamara says Wolves' return to the third tier of women's football has been three years in the making as his team get their season underway at home to Middlesbrough this afternoon.
Speaking to Wolves TV's Gemma Frith, the Wolves Women admitted how emotional the occasion will be after their long-awaited promotion came to fruition this summer after being granted 'upward movement' into the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division.
