Three under-23 games to be played at Molineux

Wolves’ under-23s will play three of their remaining home fixtures of the 2018/19 season at Molineux, with fans being urged to show their support to Rob Edwards’ development side.

The first of three under-23 matches due to be played at the stadium will be next Friday’s PL Cup match against Oxford United, where a win can secure the team's place in the knockout stages of the competition.

Molineux will also host the Premier League 2 matches with Southampton on Monday 11th March and Stoke City on Monday 15th April, with all three games scheduled for 7pm kick-offs.

In a bid to avoid fixture congestion with AFC Telford United at New Bucks Head, this Friday evening’s PL2 clash with Norwich City (15th February), which was due to take place in Telford, will now take place at Wolves’ Compton Park training ground, with the game remaining a 7pm kick-off. Supporters can attend the match at Compton for free.

No date has yet been set for the rearranged Premier League Cup game against Swansea City, which was due to be played last Friday, before the match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at New Bucks Head.

The away PL2 fixture with Newcastle United – which was postponed on Friday 1st February – has also been rearranged and will now take place on Saturday 23rd March with a 12pm kick-off at Northumberland FA’s Blue Flames ground.
