Wolves Under-21 return to action for the first time in 2026 as they face AS Monaco in the Premier League International Cup at Kidderminster on Thursday night.
Wolves’ last match of 2025 saw them narrowly defeat by Nottingham Forest.
Setting the Scene
It is Wolves’ fourth fixture in the competition this season having beaten PSV Eindhoven, drawn with RB Leipzig and lost to Real Madrid. James Collins’ side go into the game knowing only a win will give them a chance of qualifying for the next round with several other group fixtures still to take place.
An unbelievable finish from Enso Gonzalez in our last #PLInternationalCup fixture 😍

The Monegasques visit Aggborough on Thursday having played twice – a 2-0 win at Southampton and a 2-1 defeat at Everton.
How It Stands
Wolves are currently third in Group A having played three games. AS Monaco are fourth but have played one game less.
A win for Wolves would see them at least temporarily occupy the second qualification spot, though several teams will have at least one more fixture to play, meaning Wolves will need favourable results elsewhere to ensure they retain second spot.
