Wolves under-21s’ pre-season schedule is taking shape, with five UK-based fixtures confirmed for James Collins’ group.
The Old Gold youngsters, who were beaten by Chelsea in the Premier League 2 play-offs last April, will check back in over the coming weeks and begin their friendly schedule on Saturday 12th July.
The summer begins with a game against AFC Wolverhampton City at the Prestige Midlands Arena in Castlecroft – 3pm kick-off on 12th July.
Bristol City’s under-21s are next up for a behind-closed-doors fixture at Compton Park on Saturday 19th July, before the group head to the continent for a warm weather training camp.
That trip will include two fixtures against European opposition, which will be confirmed in the near future, before the squad return home for another private clash with Norwich City under-21s on Saturday 2nd August.
Pre-season will then conclude with a trip to South Wales to face Cardiff City under-21s at Leckwith Stadium on Tuesday 5th August, before a final behind-closed-doors fixture against West Bromwich Albion’s under-21s on Saturday 9th August.
A full under-21 pre-season schedule will be confirmed in due course, as will ticket information for all public fixtures.
