Wolves under-21s travel to Manchester City in Premier League 2 on Sunday afternoon.
The Old Gold face the reigning PL2 champions having won their last two encounters in league and cup competition.
James Collins’ side recorded an impressive 2-1 victory over Arsenal last time out in the league, while ending on a high against Charlton Athletic in the PL Cup last Monday.
Leo Lopes and Tom Edozie scored the goals in a 2-0 success versus the Addicks and despite exiting the competition, the team were able to secure all three points.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are experiencing a different sort of campaign to previous and currently sit bottom of the table with their young squad.
In comparison, Wolves have collected 19 points from their 12 games to date and are placed in ninth, just five points off Fulham in third.
Last season, City completed a league double over Wolves with a 3-1 win at Compton before edging a seven-goal thriller on the final day of the season which all but secured safety for the Old Gold thanks to their superior goal difference.
