The Czech Republic outfit travel to England for their first PLIC fixture of the season, while Wolves play for the second time and will be eyeing back-to-back wins.

James Collins’ side impressively defeated current holders PSV under the Molineux lights last month, as goals from Kam Kandola and Nathan Fraser gave the Old Gold a 2-1 victory.

Sparta Prague B compete in the second tier of Czech football and currently sit 12th in the FNL table after collecting 17 points from 16 games.

In last season’s International Cup, Sparta Prague won three of their four group games to progress into the knockout stages before bowing out away to Fulham.

The Wolves youngsters return to action following the international break and will be looking to bounce back from defeats to Derby County and Charlton Athletic.

WHAT THE GAFFER SAID

“I think all of the European teams are slightly different. Eastern European teams have a slightly different way of playing.

“They’re highly aggressive, physical, but with talent and ability as well. We’ll have to stand up to that.

“Having watched them, it will probably be a bit more like one of our EFL Trophy games than our league games which are probably our most difficult games.

“We’re expecting a real tough test and we’ll have to stand up to that test and hopefully play some good football as well.”
