Wolves under-21s return to Premier League 2 action against Southampton on Monday evening.
James Collins’ side welcome the Saints to Aggborough as they round off a busy month in October which included matches in four different competitions.
Since the start of September, the Old Gold have lost just two from eight games in all competitions and were winners over Leeds United in their last PL2 outing.
The youngsters have had two weeks since their last fixture – a memorable 2-1 victory against International Cup holders PSV under the Molineux lights.
Their attention turns back to league action for the visit of Adam Asghar’s side, with the head coach taking charge of his first PL2 game for Southampton.
Wolves currently sit 19th in the table having accumulated six points from their opening six games, while Southampton are just a point ahead in 16th.
The Saints were last in action at the start of October as they played out an entertaining seven-goal thriller with Lyon in the International Cup, losing out by four goals to three just five days after putting six past Reading in PL2.
