Wolves under-21s are back in EFL Trophy action on Tuesday evening as they travel to face Lincoln City.
Following a 2-1 victory at Notts County in their opening Group G fixture, James Collins’ side already have three points to their name heading into the second game.
Their opponents, Lincoln City, are managed by former Wolves promotion winner and coach Mark Kennedy who made more than 160 appearances in Old Gold.
The Imps currently sit 15th in the League One table having collected 15 points from their opening 10 games.
In their first group game, Derby County took all three points at Pride Park as Tom Barkhuizen and Louie Sibley scored the goals for the Rams in a 2-0 win.
The Old Gold come into the game following a strong run of form, which has seen just one defeat in six in all competitions and back-to-back clean sheets.
Wolves under-21s travelled to Lincoln back in 2018 when goals from Benny Ashley-Seal and Ryan Giles secured a 2-2 draw, before the youngsters won on penalties to claim the extra point.
