Wolves under-21s open their Premier League Cup campaign with a trip to face Norwich City on Tuesday evening.
James Collins’ side are in Group C of the competition, alongside the Canaries, Bournemouth and Charlton Athletic.
Norwich are first up for the Old Gold as Collins takes his troops to Norfolk, one week on from their EFL Trophy victory at Notts County.
A 2-1 success at Meadow Lane made it back-to-back victories for the youngsters, who claimed their first Premier League 2 win of the season against Crystal Palace shortly before that.
Meanwhile, Alan Neilson’s Norwich have collected seven points from their first four PL2 games of the campaign and sit 10th in the table.
In the PL Cup last season, Wolves were comfortable winners of their group following five wins from six, but then bowed out in the knockout stages at the hands of Stoke City.
Wolves last faced Norwich in 2021/22, as a penalty shootout victory at Molineux secured a place in the PL2 play-off final on their way to promotion back to the highest tier of youth football.
