The two sides are separated by only goal difference in the table, with the old gold slightly ahead in 10th place and with a game in hand.
Despite a 3-1 defeat to Brighton last time out, James Collins’ side have been on a positive run of form with two wins and a draw from the three matches prior to that.
With no fixture last week, Wolves arranged a friendly against AFC Bournemouth at Compton Park, and were able to run out 1-0 winners thanks to a late Nathan Fraser strike.
Opponents West Ham have themselves been enjoying some strong results of late and although leaders Manchester City put five past them two weeks ago, the Hammers have won six of their last nine PL2 encounters.
Their impressive run started with a 3-1 victory over Wolves back in November, as Mark Robson’s side look to pull away from the bottom two.
A win for either side could push them five points clear of the drop zone, with just over a month of the season left to play.
