Blackburn Rovers and Brighton & Hove Albion are the latest two missions to have been successfully completed by Wolves’ under-21s, who have collected all six points on offer since matchday one.
Harvey Griffiths and Christian Marques were on the scoresheet on Monday evening at Aggborough, as a 2-0 victory over Brighton lifted the old gold into sixth in the table.
Opponents Palace have made an impressive start to 2022/23 themselves, with two wins and a draw from their first three fixtures.
Paddy McCarthy’s Eagles were 3-2 victors over Brighton, before they secured a thumping 5-1 win at Manchester United – last Friday’s 2-2 draw at Fulham earned a seventh point from nine for the second-placed outfit.
